FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. How do I register for the event?
A. Registration is onsite beginning at 7:30am in the main entrance of the Audio/Visual Classroom Center at Owens Community College. There is no pre-registration for this event.
Q. Is there a cost for this event?
A. No. The event is free to all attendees.
Q. Do I have to attend all day?
A. No. You can attend as many, or as few, sessions as you like.
Q. Will there be food available at the event?
A. There will be coffee, tea, fruit and doughnuts available during morning registration hours on a first come/first serve basis at no charge to participants of the Safety Day. Lunch will be available for purchase in the food court from 11:00am-2:00pm (near the
fitness center).
Q. Is parking free?
A. Yes. Parking is available in front of the building and on the north side of the building.
Q. Are there any C.E.U.s offered for any of the sessions?
A. Currently we do not offer CEUs but please check back in the future for more information.
Q. How do I become a sponsor for Safety Day?

Q. I would like to be a vendor at Safety Day. How do I get information on displaying my products and services?

Q. How do I get more involved with Safety Day? I would be interested in volunteering to work on a committee and/or the day of the event.
A. There are several committees that work throughout the year to plan and coordinate the Safety Day. We also have plenty of openings for assistance on Safety Day. Q. I would be interested in presenting at the next Safety Day, or I know someone who would make a dynamic speaker. Who do I contact for more information?
A. We are always looking for interested speakers on topics relating to safety and health in the workplace and at home. Our schedule is complete for Safety Day 2011, however, we begin planning for our next event in September.
